Sam and Jackie had been renting for several years and truly wanted a place of their own that they could enjoy for years to come. Jackie had also been putting up with a more than 45 minute commute to work since she took a step up in her career.
They could have continued renting indefinitely, sacrificing lots of time commuting and continuing to be frustrated with apartment life (they knew if they were to move closer to Jackie’s work it would be to a house not another apartment).
We had several areas of Charlotte they were considering and evaluated options – I strongly suggested doing commute test drives!
They found a house that offered the suburban feel with easy access to amenities, culdesac fenced yard for their dog and a 15 minute commute for Jackie!
Successfully having closed and moved in they are thrilled with their new home here in Charlotte and look forward to many happy years there.
